HomeAid Southeastern Michigan and CBRE Team Up to Help the Homeless

SOURCE:CBRE Group, Inc.

DESCRIPTION:

On September 11 and 12, over 40 volunteers from the Detroit office of CBRE participated in the fifth annual HomeAid Southeastern Michigan/CBRE Care Days to benefit Grace Centers of Hope (GCH). The event took place in two Pontiac locations – Grace Gospel Fellowship Church and the GCH Interdependent Living Community. On the first day, volunteers restored stained glass windows in the church, which is being renovated to its original purpose after decades as a nightclub. The group also painted areas of the church that will serve as office space and activity rooms for GCH. Day two volunteers focused on the interior painting of a GCH transitional home and the revitalization of landscaping in a central area of the park servicing the GCH community.
