FedEx volunteers protect an area in the Colorado Black Forest burn scar
SOURCE:FedEx Corporation
DESCRIPTION:
Ensuring that local communities where FedEx team members live and work are sustainable is a top priority for FedEx. Through its EarthSmart Outreach programs, FedEx helps build sustainable cities through the conservation and restoration of parks and green spaces, as well as the rehabilitation of natural habitats impacted by disasters. This spring, FedEx teamed up with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and the Arbor Day Foundation to sponsor a number of conservation projects across cities in the U.S. This important work was recently featured on KRDO-TV's Good Morning Colorado, highlighting the effort to restore areas devastated by the Colorado wildfires.
