DESCRIPTION:

Are you digging out of a snow covered state today?  When you have a chance to warm up, you can check out the latest news on NJTV with Mike Schneider (@SchneiderNJTV).

In this interview with Verizon’s chief sustainability officer, James Gowen (@JamesGowen), you can learn more about how solar and fuel cell power is helping to generate more than 66 percent of the energy used at Verizon’s flagship Basking Ridge, HQ.

As part of a $100 million investment in green energy for its operations across the United States, Verizon installed roughly $20 million in solar and fuel cell technologies at the Basking Ridge campus.

In addition, Verizon has also partnered with the NJ Audubon Society, which is helping to reintroduce native plant and wildlife to Verizon’s Basking Ridge and Freehold, NJ campuses.
