Do you know TED? More specifically, do you know TED Talks? Ted talks is a nonprofit organization devoted ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’. TED Talks bring together some of the world’s most mesmerizing thinkers and present a topic for no longer than 18 minutes. The conferences typically happen on the West Coast and are out of reach for many. That’s why they introduced TEDx.
TEDx allows communities to organize independent conferences to bring ‘ideas worth spreading’ through a TED-like experience at the local level. Montreal is no stranger to TEDx and neither is Vigilant.
Vigialnt Global -who's core philanthropy mandate is to nurture youth education - is once again sponsoring this year’s Montreal TEDx on September 14. This year’s theme is Innovation through human connections and will be held at the Société des arts Technologiques.
The speakers are lined up and ready to impart their findings and wisdom with the Montreal crowd in what we're sure will be a series of riveting 18-minute speeches.
