We are on a journey to create a culture of health and wellness at Eastman. A project we are kicking off this year at the Kingsport site in support of this initiative is workspace demonstration gardens.
Gardening is a great way to raise fresh and nutritious vegetables, while also enjoying mild physical activity. Through these demonstration gardens, employees can learn more about gardening and share their own tips and ideas. Hopefully they will inspire new gardeners as well.
Four gardens were planted in mid-May with green peppers, onions, leaf lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs.Team members in Kingsport are encouraged to help tend the gardens.
