Incite Campaigns to Increase School Attendance; NextLife and Olivet Team up for Sustainable Products; Panasonic Opens a Model Eco-Factory - CSR Minute for October 25, 2012

Incite, a social impact marketing firm, has partnered with E3 Alliance and Get Schooled to launch a campaign to increase school attendance in Central Texas. The initiative targets 40,000 middle and junior high school students, who compete to earn points for their school. Attendance has grown by three percentage points in the 150 schools that have participated in a Get Schooled attendance challenge around the country.

NextLife, a sustainable plastic resin manufacturer, has formed a strategic alliance with Olivet International to create growth opportunities in manufacturing in the U.S. and in global markets. The partnership will focus on the manufacturing of products made with post consumer sustainable resins.

Panasonic has opened an eco-factory in Vietnam to make environmentally responsible products using sustainable processes. One of its goals is to serve as a model that includes a range of outreach activities to educate the community.
